I visited Kerala Hut Restaurant, Luton and had a wonderful experience. The food was proper authentic Kerala cuisine – it truly felt like home away from home. The preparation and presentation of the dishes were excellent, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The staff were very polite, well-behaved, and helpful. We tried arabic alfahm and pothichoru. Both are just ok. Tasty flavour is missing. Alfahm was not juicy, no salad served, it was served with porotta, that was tasty. Pothichoru also presentation was not up to the level. Provided fish as requested. Atmosphere was nice.

Today was one of the busiest days I've seen at a restaurant. Unfortunately, some staff seemed overwhelmed and rarely smiled or communicated with customers, leaving many people feeling ignored. The atmosphere could have been much better with a little more communication. Thankfully, one member of the drinks team remained calm, friendly, and respectful throughout. He apologised for the wait, kept customers informed, and served everyone with a smile. Even though the restaurant was under pressure, his professionalism made us leave with a much better impression.

Wanted to try some authentic Kerala food and visited with family. I had visited their Northampton branch during a trip there which served good food. Unfortunately the Luton branch does not hold up at all in terms of quality. It was the most bland Kerala food I had tasted, none of the items had any flavour. Chatti choru was a big disappointment and so was the chicken curry. Pappadam was not typical Kerala pappadam, rather a western one. The interior is huge compared to other Kerala restaurants I've visited but the food quality really needs to improve.
