The perfect location. A short drive from Morpeth and 40 minutes away from Cragside. Clean and cosy rooms with extremely comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a country park and lake in front of the hotel, with ducks, geese and swans. Breakfast and food at the Cookhouse next door was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options. Overall a perfect stay. I'll definitely be back again. I highly recommend!

Room was great value for money, nice and clean whilst feeling comfortable and modern. Had a lovely view of the lake too. Staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Plenty of parking too, the only thing that could be improved is the car park surface as there's a lot of potholes/rough patches so a low car would struggle a bit.

Fantastic. Great service. Great food. Our host Reece could not have been nicer. So friendly and polite. Popped in for a last minute mothers day meal with my partner and kids. Booking was made online just 10 minutes previously. The staff could not have been more accommodating.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here with family. Nice clean room, they provided extra bed for children, amble parking spaces and excellent view of lake. Kids loved the play area in the pub house and food was good and price are reasonable.
