Nothing about it blew me away, but the prices really meant it should've done. This was the same with the wine, which I tried two of their red wines by the glass but neither were impressive. For £12/glass I would expect to enjoy it much more. The veggie burger was over £25 but again, no strong flavours to impress, certainly not for that price. SF★★★★★Roux is undoubtedly a solid choice for a refined meal. I opted for the steak while my partner chose the sea bass, and both dishes were exquisite. The flavours were beautifully balanced and impeccably cooked. We accompanied our meal with a Bloody Mary, which we both agreed ranks among the finest we have ever tasted. It was very refreshing, and complemented the meal wonderfully. The setting is superb, right on the banks of the river, and the view adds a very special touch to the dining experience. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and will most certainly return to explore more of the menu
marianne klien★★★★★Wonderful lunch today with my husband at Skindles. We had a fabulous table by the river on a glorious summer day and the whole experience was utter perfection. Cookie served us and was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and he was great fun whilst making sure we had everything we could possibly need. Incredible prawn cocktail and smoked salmon starters followed by a very special superfood salad and fish main course. We will be back very soon and hopefully be looked after by Cookie again!
