Ok, so this is city centre hotel and restaurant and it’s not going to have the same vibe on certain days. That said, I had a great meal for one, chose the prawns and chorizo for starter and the steak for main. Excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The drink prices are reasonable (£11 for a Negroni) and made really well.

For the first time coming here it was brilliant. Martin was super friendly with interacting with us showing us places to visit. The food was delicious I couldn’t complain the burger tastes amazing would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to have a lovely meal. Will definitely be coming again. ☺️

I stumbled upon this place on a rather dull morning. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by the staffs warmly and seated quickly. The hostess Wing was genuine and passionate. She explained to me in details about the buffet breakfast offerings. I was really impressed. The buffet included a variety of hot and cold selection, from fruits and yoghurt, to bread and pastry. Sausages and egg dishes are readily available, or one may ask the server for freshly cooked eggs in any style. Being a tourist from the South I love seeing northern inspired dishes on the menu. Fancy a delicately prepared Bury black pudding sausage roll? All meat is high quality, locally sourced and prepared well (maybe a little on the overly-cooked side for some). The stand out ingredient was the melt in the mouth pork.
