Steak and ale pie with 2 sides(mash, pies) and a Vocation Bread & Butter came to £16.50, circa 900 THB. The pie was superb and a much more attractive offering than £27 for pie and pint in the nearby Marble Arch. Two doors were left open creating a bracingly icy temperature. Several of the regulars seemed to have congregated in sun trapped corner, that would have been a smarter play. Left me pining for Bangkok in April at a broiling 37 degrees. Excellent, friendly service from the T shirted barman. Maybe I'll return one summer's day.

Amazing bar with great selection of pints. The pineapple Lilly’s cider is delicious and love that they stock delirum ,such a great beer! Staff were super friendly with a special shout out to Sam on the bar. He had some great drink recommendations for me and my friends ,as well as giving us all a good laugh. Will definitely be coming back.

We are only in Manchester for the day and we searched a place to find cider. We arrived at a quiet time and were served by a very kind lady named Sioned (she had to help me spell it) The cider and Belgian beer were tasty and the building is very unique and quite obviously vintage itself. A very nice place to have a pint. Its only a busy corner but the inside is tranquil. The art and architecture make it fascinating to look around. We will be back when we come to Manchester.

Popped in The Crown & Kettle after hearing glowing reviews and to get away from the heat on a Friday afternoon. The pub is stunning and the service is second to none, particularly had a good rapport with Desni, whose down to earth Bristolian accent made me feel right at home. Thank you Desni for making a wayward traveller feel comfortable, and I'll definitely have to try the fiery brew next time! Cheers, will be returning :)
