I had always wondered why this place was always packed, so while driving past today, my wife, son, and I decided to stop in for breakfast. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made in 2026! 😀 The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. In fact, this was the first time I’ve ever eaten everything on a full English breakfast. Lovely food, great coffee and really friendly family atmosphere. I remember when Avenue Cafe first took up residence behind Sainsburys and the service was always so friendly. It’s been lovely to see them get bigger and still keep that service that is almost unique to them. We’ve been customers since our kids were in pushchairs and will still be customers for years to come. Be sure to attend their Greek special nights with Mezze and a live band. had a breakfast here and it was pretty good over all, nice sausages which is important on a decent breakfast but wasn't impressed with the boiled mushrooms (don't know why cafes still boil mushrooms they should be fried on a breakfast) and don't like how you only get 1 piece of bacon should be 3 rashers minimum especially as its ment to be the large breakfast too but over all it was quite a good quality breakfast
