I went with friends to the Tamarind Restaurant and it was a lovely evening out A warm welcome greeted us and we ordered poppadoms as our starter and then an array of different curries. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. It is a bring your own alcohol and the corkage is £2 50 a bottle. We brought some white wine and s wine cooler was provided and the other bottle was put in the fridge. They do serve non alcoholic drinks. The service was excellent and so friendly. It is always a pleasyto come here. Booking is essential as it is so popular o the weekend.

I heard good things from several people about this curry house . Then my cousin suggested we go there as he had been before and said it was lovely. So we went 18-5-26 . Well all I can say is was well worth travelling as I live miles away . The food was put of this world . The chicken was quailty and the sauce outstanding . The service was brilliant waiters and staff were really pleasant . We even had a coffee after and that was nice . I have been to many curry houses o er the years but I can not remember going to a better one than this . I would confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone

Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. Staff repeatedly removed plates and cutlery from our table while we were still eating without asking, which felt very disrespectful and disruptive. What was even more concerning was that this treatment seemed to be directed specifically at our table, while other diners were not treated the same way. The constant interruptions made us feel unwelcome and rushed. In addition to the poor service, the food itself was disappointing, lacking flavor and not matching the prices charged. Always great food and service. It's a BYO so the bill is always reasonable (corkage only £1.50 each). There was a large group in who were very noisy (not rowdy) so not easy to have a conversation, thus 4 star for atmosphere. Always busy so booking is essential.
