I went there for the Sunday roast, it’s really nice meal. Dog friendly. However, you have to booked it first to acknowledge you will take your doggy, no dog water The receptionist is not that friendly

Had the most fantastic time at the folly for our delayed christmas party! Damian was a pleasure to work with from the very start; nothing was ever too much trouble (even when I doubled the numbers..!) And he really went all out to make sure we had the best time. Every single staff member did this too; everyone was so friendly, service was fantastic (really nice touch that they organised different courses to come at different times based on wether people were having starters or not etc) and the food was great! Couldn't recommend the team or venue more!

Bar service was all good, even if the card machine is auto set to ask for a tip for ordering a pint! Waited to get seated and was walked passed multiple times by the staff after 5 mins the same lady that had ignored me asked if I was ok? Yes, I have a booking. Then things changed 😔 Ordered the bacon burger and triple cooked chips, with a side of onion rings 🫣. Burger was good, the side of coleslaw was dead and brown, the side of onion rings which cost £1.50 was three onion rings!!! The triple cooked chips ummm nope french frys cooked 5 plus times and have become solid grease lardons.

Crap food and service. Told them I had food allergies and they couldn't cook a rare steak with a mushroom. This is what they call rare. I call it well done.
