Visited the Widecombe Fair in Mansfield recently and had a really good experience. The food was decent and nicely prepared. Everything we tried was tasty and served hot, which was appreciated given how busy it was. The service was friendly and efficient. One of the staff members – I think her name was Hannah – was particularly helpful and polite, making sure everything was in order. Overall, nice atmosphere, good food and great service.

The Widdicombe Fair has easily become one of our favorite pubs in Mansfield, and that is primarily down to the great team working here. ​We've visited more than a few times over the years ,often during peak rushes when the staff can be overwhelmed. Food is, 10/10 since they updated their menus, staff are friendly and helpful, the place, not bad at all. I Would definitely come back again, I've been here a few times. There are plenty of parking spots available and there is a park if you have kids with you. It's very child friendly, as well as having a bar area for adults. There's a ramp to the dining area if you have a pushchair or wheelchair, overall great experience.

We popped in after meeting up with friends who’d decided to camp at Sherwood Forest. It was a really hot day so we sat outside as the heat was a bit much inside. Food was served relatively quickly and our server was really polite and friendly. Food was good with it all coming out hot at the same time and lots of empty plates by the time we’d finished.
