Unfortunately our local McDonalds (Oakham) was closed this evening for some reason. We had nothing in for dinner and felt too lazy to cook, so decided to head over to the Melton Mowbray branch! Went through the drive thru and ordered. Spoke a nice girl on the tannoy. We had to wait in the bay for our food, but to be fair I always order with no pickles! So expected it may have taken longer. Took our food back home, thank goodness for cool bags. Food was so yummy and we were happy.

I was given the wrong order and only provide with a slice of cheese after waiting 10 minutes for this!!! I asked for the bread and the cheese in a happy meal for my daughter but they have just the cheese in a box! I tried to call to raise a complaint and to ask for a refund but the number does not work!

Everytime I go to this McDonalds, I’m always pestered about buying a raffle ticket. I understand it’s not the staff’s fault and that they are probably forced by the management to do it but if I wanted to participate, I’d go to the very visible raffle stand by the till. Especially when they miss parts of my order but can remember to ask me if I want a ticket 🙄

I don't know how they do it, but every meal seems to arrive cold...tepid at best. We ordered through the drive-in...was asked to park up and wait...I assumed they were cooking the order. Food arrived nearly 10 mins later; fries stone cold and the burger needed a coat to warm up.
