The meal was extremely disappointing. I ordered moi moi and ended up waiting over two hours, which was already frustrating. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the wait. The moi moi looked poorly prepared, as though it had been rushed, and the presentation was very unappealing. The taste was equally underwhelming bland and far from enjoyable. The beans even felt undercooked and raw, which made it difficult to eat. Overall, it was a complete waste of my time and money. Ended up bining the entire meal . expected much better quality and service.

After finding no Nigerian options in York during our first visit to York last weekend, we took a leap of faith and Ubered all the way to Middlesbrough to visit D&D Restaurant. We were praying it would be worth the journey—and it exceeded every expectation. The food was authentic, perfectly seasoned, and the portions were very generous. Beyond the kitchen, the atmosphere was so welcoming; every staff member and even the fellow customers were incredibly kind. Restaurant was about to close, and stayed open so I could try their food. Bonus. Many establishments would have closed and not served. Food was great too with rice plentiful and taste, with heat how you like. (Is this a thing)! And done to my liking. Meat was on the dry side, however was very taste and flavour good. I will come back one day again, you must try the sweet yams were good.
