Had such a lovely experience at the Morecambe Hotel and Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely incredible — especially the roast dinners, which were hands down some of the best we’ve had. Perfectly cooked, generous portions, and full of flavour.A special mention has to go to Claudia and Hannah, who really made our visit extra special. Our first time for a good while, a Tuesday night, 31/03/2026. The beer I had, Wainright's, was excellent, as was the wine my wife enjoyed. We both ordered from the '2 courses for £16' menu, and all courses served were great; tasty, just enough, and fantastic value. The bonus was Wendy who, apart from virtually doing everything all night with a smile, still found time to talk with customers and make the whole experience a great occaision. Would recommend this establishment in a heartbeat, and Wendy for employee of the month, if they have such a thing. More than well worth a visit!!

Wonderful hotel, Wendy was such a helpful and warm host. The room and bed extremely comfy and at breakfast was perfect, with all your needs catered for. We booked as we were seeing a band at The Platform and this hotel is perfect for a night there. Definitely come again, thank you

The hotel was very welcoming and the rooms looked great. But on closer inspection the mattress on the bed was very badly stained and with body heat it was an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. I couldn’t recommend anyone to stay unless something is done with the beds! I was there last weekend 26th June.
