I fell victim to the classic "reviews vs. reality" trap. Based on the reviews, I expected incredible vibes and standout food, but the experience was a mixed bag. The tuna sashimi was paper-thin—a major letdown compared to the solid slices pictured in other reviews. While the space is small and cozy, one loud group (or even the room being empty) can easily wipe out the entire ambiance. On the plus side, the service was very nice as well as the wine. Go for the hospitality and a great glass of wine, but be aware that food consistency and noise levels are a gamble.

Little Bird feels like a hidden spot waiting for London to discover the incredible food and drinks within. Not only does the food taste exceptional but it’s decorated to Michelin Star quality. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable about the food that’s served, meaning that you truly understand the history behind each dish. Lots of neighbours have raved about it so I guess I had high expectations, and it was okay. The cocktail was a highlight. The food was okay - I didn't like the edamame (the sauce), the aranchini was a bit small but the burrata was great!! Really cute and lovely decor.
