We actually had 'pre starters' by ordering some Pyaaz Bhaji crispy, onion fritters with an amazing Mint Chutney. Followed by pork belly and Amritsari fried fish, both rather large portions for a starters. But great flavours. Mains of slow cooked beef and a ham hock, served with Yorkshire puds, spicy roast spuds and broccoli, Really good fresh take on a sunday roast. Loved it. I also loved the masala dosa. Ekta delivered great service and was attentive and friendly. I’ve been going to The York for drinks for years but Karobar has me coming back just for the food.

Really tasty, with dishes on offer that you don't often find - especially not at the pub! The paneer was especially good, and I fully recommend pairing everything with the paratha! Pub atmosphere was really cosy, with a great range of Kirkstall beers on offer. Cherry on the cake was the staff, who went above and beyond for us. Really lovely, very people! 😁
