My family and I had the most fantastic lunch after our walk round Saltwells Nature Reserve on Sunday afternoon 🥰 extensive menu, great service, fab kids menu plus little play area for them, whilst the grown ups could chill, great prices, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Looking forward to coming again 👍 5 stars from us xx

My Brother book a Table for 15 people for my neices Birthday party last Sunday. unfortunately the food is not good Quality not up to standard. Overpriced. My Brother made a complaint. I don't think he will be returning.

Thank you so much to Dean and the team! Fabulous service for an ever increasing party, which ended up at 30 people, all seated together! The food and service were really good, as ever! Would highly recommend to anyone. Lovely children's play area, good menu and right on the door of the nature reserve and a 20 minute stroll to the reservoir. We had 2 years old to 88 years old in our party, Dean and the team looked after everyone. Thank you so much everyone x

We have used this place for years and the food has been outstanding until today fathers day I ordered a mix grill and it came over cooked over cooked eggs over cooked pork chops which they was super dry the chicken and black pudding I could not even eat they was super over cooked and the chips looked like they was cooked on dirty oil I hope the landlord sees this post and gives the cooks in the kitchen a a right telling off as I know this is a really good pub which used to do fantastic food
