Lovely little cafe in the back of the garden centre, absolutely gorgeous to sit outside on a sunny day. Food was quick and service was very polite and friendly, felt very welcome. Atmosphere was a little you comfortable, as a woman of colour it was certainly very disconcerting to have a large volume of old white people peering at you so definitely lost points for that. Also the atmosphere was a little unpleasant in the sense that there was a lack of warmth that could definitely be improved despite the good service. Food itself was okay, coffee was a bit weak and syrup was kind of non existent

Love this cafe. Have been going here for years and years and it’s always been great, it’s been redecorated more recently and it’s so nice feels very upmarket. The food is gorgeous and the portion sizes are good, the menu is great, their pastries are so nice they do take away. Outdoor seating are is lovely when the sun is shining. The team are all really friendly and chatty. It’s very clean. Very busy spot so can sometimes be difficult to get a table. Highly recommend this posh cafe

Visited Bertram’s today with my friend for a light lunch. We both had tea and the most delicious Polish apple cake and custard. The garden centre is lovely but I’d visit again just for the pie!
