Great fresh food. All of our food was cooked to order and wasn't too greasy. We had the lunch specials as well which were perfect sized portions. The chips are fresh and not frozen and the fish was a decent size for the money. Even the pea fritters were spot on. I would highly recommend either as a local or if you're here on holiday.

Been using Ashley's for over 3 years...have always been excellent but my last few visits have been disappointing. Tonight was the last chance... chips were reheated and soggy....undercooked and soft... asked for salt and vinegar but no vinegar was put on...and absolutely smothered in salt.... totally inedible. Not sure how you can get a simple thing like cooking chips so wrong. Batter on fish was greasy and to thick....use to be a lovely golden crisp batter....it was only 7 o'clock....not like last knockings....shame really... hopefully the owner will take notice and change things back to how
