We have eaten here a few times before and decided to celebrate my husband’s birthday with our family here. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely amazing. We would like to thank everyone who served us and those behind the scenes for making his birthday meal so special. Once again we found the portions very generous and excellent value for the money. We will definitely be returning.

Very tired looking restaurant. Whilst the food is ok, too much sauce so couldn't fit veg on plate. Mentioned to waiter who laughed and said 'best first world problem I've ever heard'. Cheesecake was far too heavy on gelatin so rather than light and airy was jelly like and heavy. Sadly forgot to take any pictures.

Valle D’Oro is a wonderful family run independent Italian Restaurant in Newbury town centre, it’s food and drink selection is very good, so many options for steaks, the service was fast and friendly and you could tell the staff really care about their customers and the venue itself is cosy and well decorated. I had the steak in peppercorn sauce, I think if I ordered again I’d go for rare instead of medium rare. The fillet steak itself was incredible, it’s in my top five all time steaks, and it one of my go to items on menus so I’ve had lots in the past. The peppercorn sauce was also excellent

We discovered this local Italian gem a decade ago and it has not disappointed on each and every visit. The food is fresh and portions generous. You are warmly welcomed by Carmen and her husband Carlos delivers up delicious plates from the kitchen. If you are in a rush, let the staff know. Otherwise, dining is leisurely. Not to be missed!
