I had been kindly gifted vouchers as part of a birthday gift and decided to use them yesterday for lunch. I did book in advance as it is advised. Lucky we did as even on a Monday lunchtime it was quite busy. For a busy Monday lunchtime the atmosphere was warm and calm. The staff were welcoming, quick to take your order and good at checking in to see all is well. There was a wide variety of really great music playing in the background. First time visiting and had been told it was very popular and busy but didn't expect it to be as busy as it was. Had to wait in the bar for our table but it was only 5mins which was fine but being so busy meant it was really noisy. It did settle as people moved on and we could chat at a decent level. Apart from the fact that the food is exceptional, all the staff are polite, efficient and extremely professional 👌. The service is second to no other restaurant I know. The choice of two menus means it's an excellent venue for everyone. Our 5th time here and I live 20 miles away. Came after the amazing reviews. However if you want actual good Indian food, not the one for you. Tried around 10 dishes, struggled to find any above greasy takeaway standard, if that. Nice place to sit, staff were very attentive, so that was nice. None of us will return however.
