Visited the newly refurbished Sunnyside on Monday (for the Poker night). The new, updated decor is really good and everything looks a lot better (and it wasn't too bad before). Separating the bar/lounge seems like a good idea. Ordered a burger, which was served pretty quick - a good eat for reasonable money 💰

We chose to go after getting 30% off vouchers on Mains. And we're glad we did because it's a bit pricey for a family friendly pub. However, the food was nicely presented, came out hot and the service from Sam (and another lady) was friendly. Sadly the carpark has craters from the moon and the interior of the pub was so run down; dirty, stained and had old decor from Generous George (now a Marstons). It needs some work but definitely has potential.

The new refurbishment and the interior design is so new and welcoming also a lot cleaner seating .the food is amazing I advise to order a cheeseburger from the burger part if you are a picky eater and do not like a lot of food options. The staff were nice and welcoming and they were super nice . The food was brought out pretty quick I would definitely come again !

Sunnyside is a lovely place to bring the kids. They have plenty of outdoor space with lots of seating, a goal, climbing frame and a wooded area for the children to burn some energy and explore!! The food is good but I would say the menu is a standard pub grub menu and it does get let down by the selection of desserts as they dont do any fruity options but they do have a great lemon meringue wedge. Overall its a lovely experience and i enjoy bringing the kids here 😀
