Nice pub, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Celebrating our grandsons birthday and they had a reggae event going on. Nice evening out. Highly recommend. Not tried the food yet but menu looks good.

Excellent pub with happy, friendly atmosphere with helpful staff and good accommodation, seating etc. The Sunday Roast and Mixed Grill were both excellent and very challenging being more than enough to eat for most people. The ale was excellent, although only two of three pumps on tap and very reasonably priced. Although the pub was very busy the staff were really hard working and gave excellent service with a smile. On Sundays they hold a number of raffles where you can win joints of meat and cash prizes, and its great fun and much enjoyed. I will definitely be returning as its most enjoyable

Went there to see a singer & to dance. Ended up eating there too. Lively pub full of families, lots of kids dashing about. The kitchen was open & they were cooking on Easter Sunday... Varied menu plus Specials Board and food was good.

Went on Saturday for a belated birthday meal with family as I was away for my birthday. The one stipulation I had was that I wanted something that I would consider home cooked (even though we were at the pub). They definitely delivered. My main course was absolutely spot on. Just what I needed. I'm not gonna lie and say it wouldn't have been out of place at a top restaurant because Pie, chips and peas with a jug of gravy definitely wouldn't be at any top restaurants I know. The only reason it didn't get 5 star for food and main rating was due to the deserts. We ordered at least one of each of
