Saw the deals advertised and thought I’d give the place a try. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The girl serving tried charging me a different price to the advertised deal when I specifically asked for the deal price. The donner meat was very dry and lacked flavour. I was also concerned about hygiene and presentation standards. The girl serving was wearing shorts, which I felt was inappropriate for a food establishment and didn’t give a professional impression. Overall, I won’t be returning and there are plenty of better places around that offer better food and service.

Very disappointing experience ordering from The Bridge Fish Bar tonight. The order was scheduled for 7:30pm with an estimated delivery of 7:35pm, yet the food didn’t arrive until well over an hour later. I called the shop three times during the wait and was told twice that the order had already left, which clearly wasn’t true. After being messed around for over an hour, the only “compensation” offered was £2 credit towards another order. Offering £2 after a 1 hour 15 minute delay feels quite insulting and does very little to make up for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, the food was

Have used this chop shop for years. I know it’s been taken over not that long ago and have food a few decent trips since then but today the food was really poor, and this was made worse by the replacement being also bad. I called up to say the batter on the fish was barely cooked - very pale and tasted like dough. They sent a replacement by delivery in about 5 minutes - excellent service…. But fish although had a bit more colour batter still wasn’t cooked. What a shame as the girls in there are very friendly.

This place was great until I tried to eat the food. Uncooked chips. Smelly, foul-tasting fish with batter that could break the teeth. It ended in the bin, and a hurried round of toast each for our family before we had to go out. Would not recommend.
