Really enjoy this place!! Went for Sunday night roast and was soo good!! Tons of food and all the classic staples. Service was great - nice and quick… good place for a drink. Went with a couple friends and enjoyed bread as app as well as dishes of chicken and beef roast and schnitzel. Overall everything was amazing and can’t recommend enough

Beautiful pub in a very good location. Service was ok. However the veggie roast was probably on of the worst I have ever had. Yorkshire pudding was old and kind of crunchy (reheated), I could not eat it, the veggies were plain and flavourless, we had to add loads of gravy to it. Definitely would not recommend the Sunday roast but great atmosphere for a drink.

We came here for a cosy Sunday roast and fish & chips. The food is excellent, the service is very homely and it has dim lighting and it’s warm with a really cosy feel. Big portions, very delicious. The only thing was my potatoes weren’t fully cooked and still quite hard. We will visit again!

An evening with a mate, a couple of pale ales, well kept. It's an old pub and divided into distinct rooms via wooden screens, each with its own low doorway to navigate. One you stoop low for, another has a floor-level beam waiting to catch the unwary, I took care with the brimming pints. Lovely place. Friendly staff.
