Visited this coffee shop for the first time for a quick break and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. I tried the coffee and matcha, both of which were great. The staff was kind and the place was very clean.

My friend and I came to the Carrington Street, Nottingham, branch today, around 2.00pm. We had Vodafone vouchers which gives you any drink, any size, any topping etc for £1. As clearly stated in their offer. I was served politely and got my Luxury Iced Frappe, with an extra shot of Pistachio syrup and cream. Paid £1. No problem. My friend was asked by her Barista to pay extra for cream and was told she was getting a £5.00 drink for £1 and she should be grateful ! My friend said she had never had to pay extra, and was asked 'was it in this branch or somewhere else ?' The offer does not

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Caffè Nero, being in want of baristas, only looks for the loveliest people they can find. This is true of this beautiful branch. Even by Caffè Nero standards, this is a very nice place to spend an hour or so.

staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested in serving customers, with little effort to communicate properly. The matcha latte was very bland. Definitely not worth the price.
