This was my second time visiting this place with my friends, and once again it was a great experience. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and very chatty they really make you feel welcome and take good care of you. The portion sizes are huge for the price. You genuinely feel full, and we even had leftovers. On my first visit, I tried the fish and chips and it was absolutely perfect. This time, I ordered the chicken döner. Even though I chose the small portion, it was still more than enough. Everything was very delicious, and I honestly think this is a place everyone should visit. Highl

Good value for money and a proper local, authentic "fish and chips" experience. Fresh and hot. Quite tasty and the portions are actually huge, so be prepared to get stuffed for the rest of the day if you fancy being fit. The chips are mostly soft, but some of them are also crispy, the mushy peas sauce is thick, the battered fish is delicious. All seasoned with salt and vinegar upon request. If you visit Nottinghamshire for a couple of days, this is by far in the top 10 places to out eat. Great location too, on the city's main pedestrian street with loads of pubs and clubs around.
