We found this place by chance yesterday after our usual breakfast spot was fully booked, and we’re so glad we did. We arrived without a booking and were greeted by Charlie, who immediately made us feel welcome. As it was our first visit, he took the time to explain the menu and made a few recommendations, which was a really nice touch. The food and service were both excellent from start to finish. Friendly atmosphere, great customer service, and really good quality food. We’ll definitely be back!

I chose this cafe just by looking for lovely places to have coffee and cake in Wakefield. What a lovely establishment. The wait staff were friendly and our soup was delicious 😋. We had the soup of the day which today was broccoli, along with ciabatta. The ciabatta was fresh, warm and as light as a feather. The soup was very hot (a bonus) and so tasty that i didnt want it to finish. As for the drinks - I had the most refreshing cherry iced tea. Oh my word! It was the best iced tea I've ever had, no joke. Dad ordered a locally brewed pale ale and he said that it was really nice too. All in a

Stopped off here for lunch when we went for a wander in Ossett. We didn’t have a booking but the incredibly friendly and helpful staff found us a table super quick. We had our dog with us so we were sat at the table just inside the door. We both chose the steak sandwich, make sure you’re hungry picking this dish as the sandwich was PACKED with steak, meat was tender and matched incredibly well with the cheese and sauce. Lovely strong coffees, I also went for their Mango and Yuzu sparkling lemonade which the waiter told me they make in house. Delicious and refreshing drink, I need to go back to
