I took a party of nine for dinner last night. On reflection, it was a lovely evening. The food was very nice, well presented and served hot as it should be. Most of all it was tasty! It took a little time to come, but one should expect that in a busy eatery. All in all, I’ll be visiting again to eat, celebrate or just drink and take in the lovely sea views.

Great food. Service was a bit slow. No mocktails in the drinks range. Suitable for all age groups. Live music is available on the terrace on some nights. Offers, outdoor sitting over looking the beach. Serves breakfast too. Worth a try if you’re in the area of Preston Sands.

Best coastal pub I’ve visited in England. The owners, Ali, Shelly and Fletch, are incredibly friendly and make everyone feel welcome. The views across Tor Bay are amazing, and the sunny beer garden is the perfect place to enjoy a cold Modelo. The food is fantastic, and the pub has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere right on the beach. An ideal spot for a summer’s day by the sea!

We've just moved to the area from Plymouth, so we need to find a coffee place that does food and has a great view. So we dropped into the Boathouse. Very good, very busy and service was good. View good, and the coffee was also. Next time food, but so far very good
