Wonderful greeting, very attentive service, very friendly in a very nicely well done Restaurant… You get ice cold jug of water with a choice of sparkling or still, which is complimentary on arrival. Lola even offered to charge my phone as it was getting low on battery. We visited on a Sunday evening and it was quiet but nevertheless greeted and treated really well, giving us the various menus and fully explaining all our options. We came to Flamingo with my work colleagues after and it turned out to be the perfect place to have dinner, relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. We picked it on a whim and we absolutely didn’t regret it. The place is beautifully designed, with warm lighting, lots of greenery, cosy corners and a really welcoming, chilled atmosphere. It feels stylish but relaxed at the same time, the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable and want to stay longer. The food was fresh, colourful and full of flavour. Just wanted to write to say that we came for the first time yesterday, my son googled 'somewhere to eat now' (at 3pm as our chosen place had just shut!) & up popped your restaurant. We arrived x 4 and you were able to seat us straight away which was great. The first thing I noticed was the scent! It is divine! Then the decor I noticed next, fabulous, not tacky but classy and on trend. The menu is great, love an all day breakfast option which my hubby had. As a very fussy eater who’s hard to impress, I don’t hand out five stars lightly… but Flamingo in Ashley Cross absolutely nailed it. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we’d somehow been transported abroad — sunshine vibes, great energy, and not a hint that we were actually in the middle of Poole. The Picante cocktails (Flamingo’s take on a spicy marg) were insanely good. Dangerously good, in fact… I had far too many and regret nothing. The food and service were incredible from start to finish. If you’re ordering, I can warmly recommend the roasted cauliflower and the slow-roasted beef
