Three day before I broke up with my ex in September, we passed by here, and she wanted to have a lunch in the pub. I was okay with it but later she changed her mind. This week I had drinks here twice before I go to China and stay there forever. The price of drinks are reasonable while the vibe is chill. It’s a lovely place!

Portions are very generous; far too much for us, but it's not quantity over quality. The food is excellent, the service friendly, and the prices very reasonable. We eat here regularly when we visit our son because it's walking distance and a delight every time after a hard day of DIY. An update (August 2023): the meat in the burger was not great. Most of it was fine but the last mouthful was very chewy and tough. The chips were half dark and half plain - not sure why, maybe half were sweet potato? It wasn't the same quality we've had in the past and it's pretty pricey now with burgers being £

I visited here with my family and the food is just as good as I remember it from several years ago, the portion sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were more then helpful. The children's portions were perfect and our visit was one to remember. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
