My wife and I treated ourselves to a fish tea today, and it was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The food was excellent — a truly generous portion with a massive, perfectly cooked fish and a huge helping of chips. It also came with a large pot of tea each, a side of fresh, tasty coleslaw, and to top it all off, I enjoyed a delicious ice cream for dessert. What really stood out, though, was the overall experience. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing, which made us feel completely at ease. We wanted a chippy tea after shopping so went to Marini's. A great takeaway and you have the option to sit in to eat also. Met by lovely staff and seated straight away. We were given time to see what we wanted to order. Our drinks ordered served after a few minutes and not long after our food arrived. Yummy food, great portion sizes and good value! A great dinner and have returned a few times since.

Absolutely cracking fish supper! The fish was fresh with light, crispy batter and perfectly cooked flaky white fish inside. The chips were golden, fluffy, and proper chip shop quality. Wife and I treated ourselves to a chippy lunch. It was first class, my fish straight out of the fryer, fresh white juicy fish with crispy not to thick batter. My wife's haggis (X2) supper was beautiful. The chips again straight out of the fryer. Can't compliment them enough. And the portions are huge. Service polite and efficient.
