Visited Chai Paani, Peterborough today and left very disappointed. The car park is convenient and the initial welcome was warm, but that’s where the positives ended. The atmosphere was uncomfortable — the restaurant was so silent you could hear a pin drop, and even other diners were whispering. When I asked about background music such as nasheeds staff admitted they don’t even have a sound system. Cleanliness was another major issue. The baby chair next to our table had old food stuck all over it, and there were food particles across the floor (see attached photos). For a restaurant, this is

First time coming here, it’s a shame i haven't tried it before. Good location, decent parking off road. It’s a big place with plenty of seats. On to the food, i had the desi breakfast with the option of a home made paratha which was amazing and a karak chai to wash it all down with. Chefs kiss. Customer service was on point greeted in a positive manor and served with a smile as you should expect.
