This is a nice restaurant with the added dimension of being on the water which adds interest. The food is freshly cooked and very hot which is great. My only minor criticism is that the courses arrive one after the other and you feel too full too soon. You could easily be in and out in an hour with the set menu. We did ask for a 10 minute break before the main course but were told they would give us 5 minutes.

Food was over cooked. Ribs dry and chewy. Duck was again, very dry. The food was delivered very quickly. We are guessing the food was sat on warming plates all night, that's why the food is extremely dry. We won't be returning and definitely do not recommend. Sorry Grain Barge but we were very disappointed.

1st visit here and absolutley loved it. Service was great the menu was well explained. We had the set menu such a good selection and just enough of each portion. Very efecient and not much waiting between each course. Great value for money.
