Best kebabs in Basildon - hands down! I've tried a few kebab spots around town, but Basildon Chef is easily my new go-to. Ordered the mixed doner & shish combo - generous portions, really tender meat, and the salad was genuinely fresh (crisp lettuce, tasty onions, ripe tomatoes). The garlic sauce is spot on - creamy, punchy, but not overpowering. Service was super quick - ready in about 10 minutes - and the guy at the counter was friendly and helpful when I asked about spice levels. Amazing kebab shop! The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. It actually feels more like a proper Turkish takeaway restaurant than a typical kebab shop. Everything tastes fresh and full of flavour. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself is very clean. Definitely one of the best places around for great food – highly recommend!

Love the food here. Very fresh, well cooked. Nothing is too much trouble, especially for a fusspot like me! The only thing I would like is white cabbage rather than red 😊 but it won’t stop me from using Basildon Chef.
