The Best Japanese Restaurant in Plymouth! This is an exceptional restaurant and is 5 stars across food, service and atmosphere. This is a hidden gem in the centre of Plymouth city centre. The food is impeccable, particularly the Wagyu caviar rolls has an incredible umami flavour and the sashimi is very good. I sampled 7 dishes ranging from eel, ramen, beef curry, tempura crab and sushi rolls; they were all excellent! The prices are on the higher side but reflect the quality of the food and is still much cheaper than what you could have in London! The service is great and cannot be faulted

It's only a small place but well worth a visit! We ate there this evening and already can't wait to go back. The chef and waiting staff greeted us immediately when we came in the door. We were a bit early so popped to the pub for a swift half before going back for our booked time. The waitress brought us menus really quickly and was really prompt with popping back to take our order once we were ready. The food was delicious! Best food we have had in ages! It’s been just over 10 days since we’ve eaten at this fabulous restaurant and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Lovely friendly waitress that knew every inch about the menu, the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and came across so genuine and authentic. The food was PHENOMENAL. every. single. part. It was my partners birthday and he couldn’t have been happier. We can not wait to visit again soon!

Lovely place, absolutely recommend if you like Japanese cuisine or ramen. They have a lot of vegan and gluten-free options as well as many fish and meat options. I had the seafood ramen and it was amazing (quite filling) but very good. My friends had the beef ramen and pork ramen they said they loved it. They have sushi which is very good. The service is amazing and the atmosphere was quiet with peaceful music in the background. Note: highly recommend booking in advance. It’s very easy to do so, they would fix you a table pretty quickly if you book. Because it does get very busy quickly. Highl
