Food can be very hit or miss when it comes to the breakfast/brunch menu and I feel as though it is very overpriced. This toastie below cost me £11 which seems insane looking at it. I have never once had an evening meal that I haven’t enjoyed and do believe the prices are worth it when it comes to ordering mains, sides, etc (but not breakfast). Staff are friendly, but I have had two quite awkward interactions with two different members of staff which involved odd comments, one being where a girl made a comment about me being “boring” for not wanting avocado on my burger, then bringing it to the

This restaurant bar is located by the river Taff, with a view through the expansive open plan windows, of the lovely Ynysangharad Memorial Park, over the bridge. It is vibrant and well served by the friendly staff. There is also a quieter area downstairs. There is a good standard menu. There are also full gluten free and vegan menus to meet the needs of all, with good quality food, complemented by a comprehensive range of drinks.

I love the Gatto lounge, it’s like being in New York but in Pontypridd. I took my 12 year old daughter there after going to Pontypridd Lido for a Mammy and Daughter day and it was such a lovely experience, we are going back again tomorrow. The sun was out so we sat outside. The service was amazing from every person and the atmosphere was fabulous. I will be returning to work from the Gatto on my laptop when the children are back at school 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
