So i was down at Prenton Park to watch my beloved Football team Oldham Athletic play Tranmere Rovers in League 2. So it was my First time drinking in the Mersey Clipper in the shadow of Prenton Park after we had beaten Tranmere 3-1 and i was gasping for a pint and a shot of Tequila(Latics fans will get this). I'm not a frequent visitor of this place but I must point out how generally unpleasant the latest experience was being here. Last night's meal with my parents was like being in a kindergarten environment. While it's understood this is a family friendly pub, we had dealt with kids running around the place past 8PM which is sign posted that they are not allowed in after that time. Security did not reinforce this policy well enough so here was us dealing with kids running past our table every minute including at one point one of them ran underneath our table. Sunday evening, ordered Two XL mixed grills, absolutely lovely. Nice atmosphere and would definitely come again. We weren't sure how the parking meter worked but registered inside and all was good...hopefully!!

Waited over a hour after ordering and when it came out it came all different times some people had nearly finished by the time the last order was served and then he said sorry about the delay surely 6 people can get there food at the same time not like it was very busy and no dessert because the kitchen was closing early went to a different venue 2 day's later 15 people and all got are food the same time and nice and hot last time we will be going the clipper
