Today I was really craving authentic desi food, so I asked Chatgpt where to find the best desi food in Preston, and it recommended Lahori Xpress. I went there with my friends, and we ordered the Lahori House Mix and fresh lamb karahi. Honestly, the food was absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and their customer care was amazing. One thing I definitely cannot miss mentioning is the Lahori Special Kheer. Tried Lahori Express after a recommendation from my nephew, who’s been visiting regularly — and it definitely lived up to the hype. Firstly, brilliant and friendly service from Ahmed bhai, who guided us through the order. We went for the Sheekh Kebab to start, followed by a kilo of Lamb on the Bone and Chicken Jalfrezi as mains. Proper authentic, flavoursome desi food — cooked exactly how I wanted it. 👌🏽 Ahmed also recommended their homemade Kheer, and it was genuinely special. Will definitely be coming back. We found this place by accident. So glad we did. The food was absolutely brilliant. You can tell the chef knows what he's doing coz his lamb karahi was top notch! There was 3 of us and we ordered a chargha and a 1kg karahi. was the perfect amount. Only downside is that the place is quite small and cramped. The owner did say he's opening a bigger place next door so will go back again for sure when that opens! Nice one Sohail!
