A really useful cafe in Avenham Park down near the River Ribble. It serves drink, cakes and ice creams and we have has hot food in there in the past. The cafe is run well enough but in my opinion could do better with a bit more proactive management planning to reduce queueing.

Been going for years. You can hire out part if it too as they have a floor to ceiling partition and Staff are so helpful. Be great if chai latte was on drinks menu. I do wish the disabled was a radar and not open for all. Pop in and enjoy folks!!!

My first visit with friends and family. The walk to the cafe through the park is a delight and the cafe itself is spacious and clean. The menu was pretty basic, food edible but uninspiring, and the chips (as described on the menu) were in fact pretty tasteless fries. I would suggest changing the description from chips to fries on the menu as they are quite different. Service was slow, even though the cafe wasn't particularly busy. I will certainly visit the park again.....but will take a picnic.

Been coming to this cafe since it opened years ago and it just gets more lovely! Lovely stop off on the dog trek. £6.90 for a really nice little breakfast, you have to pay extra for your tea or coffee. Great atmosphere and a gorgeous setting. I love coming here but only when it's not too busy otherwise this place is quite understaffed and the wait is frustrating. Try and get there about 10am in the school holidays otherwise week days are usually fine.
