Nice pub, good food, friendly service 😋. Overall a good boozer; simple, no frills, just right. Called in today...."are you serving food?" "Yes we are". "What time are you serving food from?" Quick look at the clock...."now". "Excellent, thank you". So we ordered two roast beef dinners, £17.45 each. We were asked how we like our beef...pink, medium or well done? Good choice. A couple of drinks, including an IPA for me whilst my daughter had a large glass of lemonade. The service was good, the staff were friendly and very polite. A fine pub at the north end of Putney Bridge, been here since 1629. The 8 Bells is a great place with a traditional London pub feel. A great range of both cask and keg beers on offer. The beers are partly mainstream and partially not with a few unusual names popping up. A bit of Canadian influence on the menu with Routine figuring large. Great friendly staff and well priced beers. A super place to visit.
