Really like the Half Moon — especially since the refurb, it’s looking seriously good. Feels fresh but still keeps that proper pub vibe. Always a good atmosphere, gets lively when there’s music on, and just an easy place to spend a few hours. Drinks selection is solid, staff are sound, and service is quick even when it’s busy. Big shoutout to the upstairs/top floor room as well — such a great space. Perfect for parties or private events, and feels a bit more special without losing the buzz of the pub. Love the new artwork as well!!

Great music venue. Our first visit after hearing so much about it. Will go again even though we live nearly 300 miles away. Stayed at the lodge hotel Putney. Excellent short stay away from home. Erja Lyytinen and her band were excellent. Support live music.
