Julie made our dinner at Pizza Express so lovely!!! We have an autistic daughter and Julie really made a special fuss of her, letting her help her with our desserts, giving her dough to play with and generally being the most amazing waitress we’ve ever met in a restaurant - absolute credit and we were very grateful for all her efforts. Food was amazing and the restaurant itself is fantastic - would highly recommend! Matt, Emma and Phoebe

Took our family of four to PizzaExpress Rayleigh and had a brilliant time. The staff were genuinely lovely—welcoming, patient with the kids, and just on it from start to finish. Special shout-out to the chef 👨‍🍳—the pizzas were spot on. Fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Relaxed atmosphere, happy kids, great food, and top-tier service. Exactly how family dining should be. We’ll definitely be back.

Rubbish experience tonight. Turned up at 6pm on a Sunday, immediately obvious not enough staff. Everyone rushed off their feet, and the usual crowd of delivery drivers hanging around. Sat down surrounded by many tables that needed clearing. Yuk, not exactly a nice dining setting. Waited over 45 mins for starters, then our mains come out!! Staff seemed a bit confused. Finally, 3 of the 4 starters came out, then waited a long time for the 4th. Finished our starters, took ages to clear the table. No cutlery or new napkins brought with the mains. 2 of the 3 Pizzas were cold and dry, I’m almost

We had a great lunch here, the waitress was really friendly and the food was first class. All of our courses were served at a sensible pace and the clearing wasn't rushed "to encourage you to make to the next course or leave". Really nice food and a comfortable atomsphere too.
