Like a little corner of Portugal in the middle of Reading. Ordered some bacalhau com nata for my Portuguese friend and she said it was the best one she’d had. Coffee is great, cakes are just like in Portugal and the staff are lovely and friendly. I’ve visited this cafe multiple times and I’m always welcomed by Ana with a big smile and friendly chat. Starting the day with a Bica and a freshly warm nata with cinnamon is the highlight of my day. The prices are very affordable and the menu gives you a lot to choose from. I love also the fact that the decoration is very Portuguese, giving a sense of being in Portugal.

Fantastic slice of Portugal in a tiny but cosy cafe. Staff is as friendly and welcoming as you could have asked, and the food is delicious and heart warming. You can't miss the coffee with pastel de nata, and get it with icing sugar and cinnamon!

Good but it felt a bit stuffy and hot inside when I was there. However the chocolate pastel de nata is to die for, warm delicious goodness and the most crispiest I’ve ever had so far, better than the ones I had in Portugal. The bifana was good it had succulent meat but the sauce was quite tangy though. The lanche misto was ok, nothing special but the Bacalhau Com Natas was great.
