I had the kobeda with rice and a bottle of water, roughly £10. The kobeda is very delicious (juicy). I loved it! The rice is really nice with lots of kishmish and carrots. I went back, kobeda was awesome as aways, I also tried their humus (really large portion) which came with lots of olives and I ordered bread with it, fresh nan bread, awesome! I ordered kava, it took 10 minutes, kawa was good, I think I got 4 cups out of the old fashioned pot, it was £3. 1st visit the presentation of the qawa was not great but on my 2nd visit: it was better presented and sugar was free flowing. Really disappointed with the whole chicken. The meat was extremely dry, tough and tasted like it had been sitting for a long time or reheated rather than freshly cooked. Parts under the skin had a strange yellow, dried-out texture which made it very unappetising. Overall the quality did not feel fresh at all and it all ended up in the bin.

Had a really great meal here! The food was absolutely delicious, full of amazing flavours, and you can tell everything is freshly made. The portions are generous, so it's definitely great value for money. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for authentic Afghan food , we'll definitely be coming back! My favourite place !

The Kobeda Palence has wide range of tasty dishes available. Is is a moderatly big restraint wich is quite airy and spacious. This restraint has some unique style high backed chairs and tables. (See photoes). There is also a A.T.M machine within this restrant. There is a take-away bar here as well as plenty of indoor seating available. The food quality is Amazing and delicious, and I would come again. Kobeda Palace is located on Oxford Road, Reading, and is only a minute wald from Tesco Extra.
