We’ve been to Mangal Express seven times now, and every visit has been fantastic! Our whole family has tried all of their kebabs, and every single one has been fresh, juicy, and full of flavour. The meat is always cooked to perfection, the portions are generous, and the sides are just as tasty. Staff are friendly and welcoming, making the place feel like a home away from home. I came here for the first time today and I’m honestly blown away. The food is incredibly fresh and flavourful — nothing like the usual pre-made doner you get elsewhere. You can really taste the quality and the care put into everything. The lamb and chicken were perfectly seasoned, the salad was fresh and crunchy, and the whole plate tasted homemade in the best possible way. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Visited in Feb 2025: First time visit to ME in Rickmansworth after it was recommended and we were not disappointed with the food. I do believe that this is the better Turkish option to where we live and considering there are some very good options. Despite the lack of seating - which was only stool seating on a counter top.
