Went at 12:15 on a weekday, no queue. Ordered mini fish and chips lunch deal. Cod is fresh, you can taste the sweetness from it. This is like seaside fish and chips quality!

This is a takeaway with ample car parking whilst visiting. The service given was pleasant and attentive. However, the quality of the food (fish and chips) was mediocre. We were assured the fish was cod, but at one point I did wonder, so either the fish was not cod or it was not fresh cod. Also we are not from Coventry and were surprised at the high price considering we live further south where prices can be more expensive. Perhaps if we had received freshly cooked food we would have had a better experience.

I visited on a weekday lunchtime and was surprised at how quiet it was, considering the social media fame from 3 years ago when there were so many videos of large queues outside. In truth, my kids and I were only visiting for the memes, but we did buy a large bag of chips. Service was quick and friendly at the till, there was a little wait for the food as the chips were still cooking, but I was happy we'd be getting them hot and fresh. We shared the bag in the car and they were perfect chippy chips tbf.
