I came to eat here alone as I am in the area doing a course, and scouting out places to eat. It’s a little more expensive than other restaurants around (not by much). Greeted by 2 lovely members of staff on the Tuesday night steak night. Seated straight away :) (18:30) They gave me complimentary bread and tomato butter and I ordered each course. Popped in as we was having a random adventure in Saltaire, we got a warm welcome and got seated right away! The staff very kind, and friendly! We got little pre starters of soup 🍲 and it was so delicious 👌🏽5/5! My OX cheek croquettes starters was absolutely beautiful, for main I ordered duck with fries and tendersterm on the side absolutely incredible combo! What a true gem of a restaurant. From the beautiful decor, attentive and very knowledgeable staff and exquisite quality food, I can't fault the pepper mill in any way. The menu is small but with a selection of imaginative and finely crafted dishes.
