Had a very disappointing visit here, which was very surprising looking at the reviews below. We visited mid-week and were welcomed without a wait which was great. There’s limited lager and wine choices but the portions were generous. We had starters and mains and everything we ordered was overcooked and had too much lemon in them. The vine leaves were in a lemon creamy sauce which was both bitter and sweet, and was so hot, it was impossible to eat for quite a while. We booked a table for 8:00pm and was seated promptly. The place was lovely with many diners enjoying good and drinks. We ordered a bottle of wine and opted for the mezes which didn't disappoint. We were completely full as it seemed like the food just kept coming and coming. There is no need to order starters or puddings with the mezes as you have more than enough. We saw diners taking home their leftover food and wine so nothing wasted. Staff were super friendly and definitely recommend 😊

Been to George Michael's a few times has a real 70s feel but not in a bad way. Nostalgic charm , flambè at the table side kind of way. Food is great staff are friendly and price is good. We had the meze platter for 2 at £48 for us both we were skeptical but by the 4th round of food we were stuffed.

During our first night in Scarborough for our first daughters ever beach holiday we randomly came across this restaurant & walking around. They were very accommodating from the start, to finish as we managed to get a table without pre-booking or ringing. All food from the starters, mains & desserts were spot on, just the right amount of food, not to much or to little.
