My sister was staying in the Premier Inn over the weekend so dining at The Anchor in Scunthorpe was the ideal option for our evening meal. We enjoyed a good meal and then moved to the Bar Area for coffee and a chat. There was a foul individual (female) shouting and swearing at Customers and Staff and this went on for over half an hour and no-one did anything to remove this vile individual? What is your policy for removing such people who go out to spoil people’s enjoyment? We just sat there hoping that she would leave or that the police would come but she eventually left if her own accord.

First time visiting and it was really good. We were stopping next door in the premier inn for the night and purchased the meal deal with the room. 2 course meal and a drink and all you can eat breakfast the next morning for £27.99 great value and the dinner and breakfast were both equally as good. Our young children loved the kids' meals they had an ate every bit. Friendly staff throughout and fast service.

Wonderful lunch stop with my mum, relaxed atmosphere and staff very happy to help. Food was spot on, and served promptly. Top marks to Stuart at the bar- really welcoming and knowledgeable on menu, and also Josh for an efficient smiley service. All team keeping the tables cleared, nice and tidy place. Also a pool table here.
