Me and friends saw this place and thought it looked welcoming but during our short time there we felt nothing but the opposite from the staff. I went to order a side of chips and the guy seemed rude, barely acknowledging me with very little eye contact. The staff bringing the food were not attentive. Not one word was said to us when our food was being brought or taken away which made us feel quite disrespected as they didn't care how our experience was. We stopped here before the concert, as the bar is very conveniently located next to the City Hall. We were served quickly, the food was well prepared, but the interior seems a little tired. Prices are average in the center, although some items look expensive for this level. In general, it's acceptable for a quick visit, but I'm not sure if I'll come back on purpose.

Orderd caesar saled was told that it came with chicken by the bar staff. I then paid 7 pound for it and then he came back saying that its and EXTRA £3.50 for the chicken. Also orderd a side chips to share with friends paid £3.60 and the portion size is rediculous and when the saled came there was a no caesar dressing which is the point of the saled so i took it back and they had the cheek to charge me an extra £2 for it. After paying the 2 pound it came drowning in the dressing I had to scoop out alot of the dressing.

It’s was ok, just had a Cavells special breakfast, £5.90, nothing special but was nice and clean and relaxed inside, just wanted a bite to eat and a sit-down.There were other options, I’d definitely go back if I was passing again and wanted a breakfast, probably try the bigger ones though:) Very pleasant staff also.
