Great place, went early Friday night pre gig at the Octagon, great selection of pies with lots of veggie options, we had halloumi with harissa, and a veggie mince one, both excellent. Good Guinness pulled carefully. Great service from the friendly guys serving too. Any later than 7pm you should reserve, especially in winter if it's too cold. outside.

Just divine. Great vibe. Plus apparently they do pies! To my shame I went with mega-boring Steak / Ale / Bacon - but seriously, it landed! Like a lunar rover. Oh man. Book in, sit down, order ye some pies. x PS. felt mushy peas were stingy. Asked the waiter guy and he totally brought over an extra bowlful, no charge. That's service.

The best pie of my life. Recommended to me by a local, Nottingham House did not disappoint. I ordered the Guinness and steak pie, my pals ordered the steak and stilton/steak and peppercorn. The meat was fork tender, in fact I couldn’t even get it on the fork without force it was so tender. The gravy - thick and rich. Each chip had its own personality, crisp on the outside, fluffy and delicate on the inside. Not to mention it comes out with a full jug of complimentary gravy. Top tier pie! Always consistent. Good pastry! A range of filings. Strong portion of gravy! Get there early as it is a fight for tables as it’s always busy! Amazing value for money - 10/10!
